TAXI

Taxi rides through two unknown cities. Millions of lights dancing through the night in front of my eyes. Giving everything a glittering and mysterious appearance. Dark alleys and corners alternate with bright and shiny spots. Colourful lightings turning the streets into a romantic, atmospheric world. This luminosity brings even insignificant things into the centre of attention in midst of the anonymity of the city. Many elements get their own spotlight, gain significance while I drive by. Unnoticed, almost vanishing amongst all the other taxis on their ways. I’m passing by, contemplating the beauty of ordinary things.
